Overview
Dap àwmoj̼az was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1274, by Knubbe Rāka. The establishment of Dap àwmoj̼az was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Dap àwmoj̼az's construction back out of the project. Knubbe Rāka pushed on reguardles, and Dap àwmoj̼az was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Dap àwmoj̼az was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dap àwmoj̼az is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Dap àwmoj̼az is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious paverstone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. The cost-cutting-focused defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Dap àwmoj̼az has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Dap àwmoj̼az long.
